Hello Benjamin Films’ New Black Wave is proud to co-present with HBO and Rada Studios for a special screening of Michèle Stephenson & Joe Brewster’s Going to Mars: The Nikki Giovanni Project, Friday 11/3 at the Laemmle Royal Theater!

The film spans across four decades to highlight Giovanni’s endearing journey of radical imagination as it explores her Afrofuturist-feminist philosophical outlook as well as her poignant relationship with her family, her political audacity, and her poetic eloquence via innovative visual treatments.
